Bancroft's Award-Winning Neighborhood-to-Nature Renovation
The owner of Bancroft Elementary School’s recent $65.8 renovation project, DC Department of General Services (DGS), selected Coakley & Williams Construction as the general contractor for this Design-Build modernization. The architects, Ayers Saint Gross, Jonathan Kuhn Architects and Fielding Nair International blueprinted the additional wings with the intention of nurturing the neighborhood-to-nature relationship.

In the News: CWC Becomes First Contractor In MD To Achieve SPECS Designation
Maryland’s new Strategic Partnership for Excellence in Construction Safety (SPECS) program provides both general contractors and subcontractors with an opportunity to gain recognition. In June, Coakley & Williams Construction became the first contractor in the state to achieve the SPECS designation.

The 16th Annual NAIOP DC|MD Awards of Excellence Gala was held last night at the newly renovated Fairmont Hotel in DC. The event brought together developers, architects, general contractors, designers and more from the commercial real estate community.
