Park Place Was Honored With ABC Metro Washington’s Excellence In Construction Award

The ABC Metro Washington Excellence in Construction Awards recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by Washington-area ABC members annually. “The awards competition serves to raise the level of construction standards throughout the industry by recognizing the workmanship of those who contribute and by showcasing the results of their dedication” (ABC Metro). We were honored to receive the Excellence in Construction Award in the Interiors category for the Park Place Amenity + Spec Suites project.

The renovated space highlights the direct connection to the outdoors by ensuring ample natural light and sightlines of greenery. Massive windows along the perimeter of the public spaces allow light to penetrate deep into the building's core, thanks to the open concept. A cohesive identity remains throughout the public areas, emphasizing the health and wellness of tenants to deliver a tranquil and restorative workplace environment.

The atmosphere takes on an industrial aesthetic, bridging the gap between professional and creative environments, with a slightly exposed ceiling covered only by acoustical padding and modern lighting fixtures. Overall, the new Park Place Amenity & Spec Suites delivers a rejuvenating office environment ideal for the post-pandemic landscape.

Hickok Cole Architects’ design of Park Place Amenity + Spec Suites invites tenants and guests into a healthy work environment in the heart of Rosslyn, Virginia. As the general contractors on this project, we renovated what was previously a deli storefront and empty office space to a reimagined space with a generously open concept plan.
