CWC provided preconstruction and construction services for Urban Grape’s new DC location in the Shaw Neighborhood. Urban Grape is the largest Black-owned wine retailer in the country and utilizes a unique “Progressive Scale” which categorizes wines by body instead of varietal or region.
This interior fit-out involved creating a new catering staging area, drink pouring station, restrooms, retail area, and fixed interior seating. The scope of work also included back-of-house storage, office areas, and a room with a bar designed for private events.
