Building Marketing into a Strategic Driver of Growth

Since joining CWC in 2017, Lisa has helped transform the company's Marketing & Communications function from a traditional support role into a strategic driver of business growth.

Under her leadership, CWC has strengthened its brand, modernized its marketing strategy, expanded its digital presence, and built stronger alignment among marketing, business development, preconstruction, and operations. These efforts have strengthened client relationships, improved pursuit execution, and supported the company's continued growth—culminating in the largest backlog in CWC's history entering 2026.

A Leadership Philosophy Built on Collaboration

Lisa's leadership is grounded in the belief that organizations are strongest when the right people are in the right roles, trusted for their expertise, and given the opportunity to lead. She has built a talented Marketing & Communications team by empowering individuals to take ownership of their work while remaining closely connected to the broader needs of the business.

Just as importantly, Lisa leads by listening. Before introducing a new strategy or initiative, she works to understand the people, processes, and operational realities it will affect. This thoughtful approach has helped CWC implement meaningful change in ways that strengthen collaboration, support operations, and move the company forward.

Lisa has elevated marketing from a function to a strategic business driver at Coakley & Williams Construction. Her ability to connect marketing with every part of our organization, build meaningful relationships across the commercial real estate industry, and continually challenge us to improve has had a tremendous impact on our company. I could not be prouder to see her recognized with this well-deserved Capital CMO ORBIE Award.

Leadership Beyond Marketing

Lisa's impact extends well beyond the Marketing & Communications team. As a member of CWC's Leadership Team and an equity partner, she contributes to enterprise planning, organizational initiatives, leadership succession, and the company's long-term strategic direction.

She also serves on the CREDA DC|MD (formerly NAIOP DC|MD) Board of Directors, continuing nearly two decades of leadership and involvement within the DMV commercial real estate community.

I’m incredibly honored by this award. I’ve been fortunate to have leaders who saw potential in me, colleagues who challenged me to grow, and a family that has supported me every step of the way.
