Senior Superintendent Jeff Gray Wins Founders Award
Jeff Gray Elected Founders Award Winner by CWC Colleagues
Each year, we honor employees who consistently go above and beyond the day-to-day expectations and deliver exceptional performance on the job, amongst their peers, and in the community. The CWC Founders Award was created to provide the name and physical recognition for those whom this award is bestowed upon yearly. This year, Senior Superintendent Jeff Gray was a recipient.
Leading CWC’s Most Complex Projects
Jeff has been with CWC for over 35 years and most recently led the intricate Landon School project. This was no easy feat; the project was multi-phased and involved moving a historic building, constructing a new upper school building, and renovating three existing buildings on an occupied campus. Project Executive & Partner Jon Fox presented the award and spoke to Jeff’s deservedness of the recognition: “His positivity and passion for construction teamwork and winning is unparalleled, and it is contagious. It infects everyone from our clients, consultants, team members, and tradespeople on our job sites.”
Building More Than Structures
Jon commended Jeff for his relentless work ethic and meticulous planning ability, sentiments that several CWC colleagues echoed. Here is what some of them had to say:
“Jeff operates with the Build Mindset. He is always positive and professional; he shares his perspective by teaching younger team members and applies his expertise by solving problems. He earns and keeps the trust of his clients and design partners.”
“He puts his heart and soul into his work and challenges his team to do the same. He is a mentor to all he encounters and knows the importance of investing in the most important component of building – the people.”
“Working with Jeff is an honor. I have learned so much from him during my time here.”
Teaching the Next Generation
In addition to receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from clients, Jeff continues to teach CWC’s up-and-coming field staff, leaving a lasting impact on the company that will carry on to the next generation of builders. Congratulations on winning the Founders Award, Jeff!
