Coakley & Williams Construction (CWC) is proud to announce the promotions of Lynn Stith Bennett to Chief Executive Officer and Greg Harraka to President & Chief Operating Officer, formalizing a leadership structure that has been in place since May and reflects the company’s long-term vision and continuity planning.

Lynn and Greg, each with nearly forty years at CWC, started as project managers and worked up to their current roles. They continue to shape the company’s strategy, culture, and sustained growth. Their leadership marks an intentional evolution that reinforces the values and relationships defining CWC for over six decades.

Terrence Caulfield, CWC’s Chief Business Officer

“Leadership at CWC has always been about building something bigger than yourself… lasting relationships, enduring trust, and a future you can stand on,” said Lynn. “I’m honored to help carry forward this company's legacy while continuing to shape its future alongside an incredible team.”

This leadership transition results from a structured succession plan developed by CWC’s executive team and Board over several years. With Lynn and Greg at the helm, CWC has strengthened daily operations and is well-positioned for continued success in the DMV.

“Lynn and I have been partners in guiding CWC’s growth and culture for many years,” Greg said. “We’re both deeply committed to leading with clarity, collaboration, and consistency for our clients, our trade partners, our team, and the communities we build in.”

Stacy BenEzra Bell recently joined CWC as Chief Financial Officer

Both leaders are known for their steady, team-first approach and deep institutional knowledge. Their leadership is grounded in collaboration and a shared commitment to empowering others, hallmarks of CWC’s culture across generations.

The broader executive leadership team continues to provide stability and vision, with Terrence Caulfield serving as Chief Business Officer and Stacy BenEzra Bell recently joining the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Together, this team guides CWC’s next chapter with a strong foundation and a clear vision for the future.

“This isn’t a change in direction, it’s a sharpening of our focus,” said Greg. “Our foundation is strong, and we’re ready for the future.”

With this transition fully in effect, Coakley & Williams Construction renews its commitment to steady leadership, purposeful growth, and building with intention for the next generation and beyond.
