NAIOP DC|MD Awards Precision Labs as Best Life Science Facility
Congratulations to the Precision Labs project team for winning the 2023 Best Life Science Facility Award from NAIOP DC|MD!
Precision Labs is ahead of the curve as an innovative solution for life science tenants. Positioned just off I-270 in one of the most significant life science clusters in the country, we repurposed vacant office buildings into speculative wet lab suites from 2,500 to 7,500 sf, in addition to a unique 32,000 sf full building headquarters opportunity equipped with all of the infrastructure necessary for lab, R&D, and cGMP manufacturing uses.
We loved working on this award-winning project with our partners, Rock Creek Property Group, Ware Malcomb, CFR Engineering Consultants, Inc., Facility Logix LLC, and JLL who is managing the leasing of these spaces. Shout out to CWC's Jason Shaw, Robert Eggerl, Kimberly Ramirez, and Adam Boyer, Khalid Hamta, Eric Mehaffie, Pat McCrary, and Marcela Chamorro.

The Award of Excellence for Best Life Sciences Facility goes to Coakley & Williams Construction for Precision Labs!
Located in one of the largest life sciences clusters in the country, and originally constructed as offices, the underutilized properties were innovatively adapted for life science use addressing the scarcity of available lab space. A “We-Work” for bio sciences, Precision Labs’ flexible design and clean bright palette allows tenants to adapt their own space and seamlessly connect adjoining suites as needed.”
