KITE TCF05 WINS MEGA PROJECT EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARD AT ABC CHESAPEAKE SHORES

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Chesapeake Shores Annual Excellence in Construction Awards recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by ABC Chesapeake Shores’ members. The awards competition serves to raise the construction standards throughout the industry by honoring quality craftsmanship produced by merit shop contractors and their employees. We are proud to announce that our construction project, Kite TCF05 Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility in Frederick, Maryland has been awarded ABC Chesapeake Shores 2022 Mega Project!

KITE TCF05: A CUTTING-EDGE BIOMANUFACTURING FACILITY IN FREDERICK, MD

The new Kite TCF05 Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility is a cutting-edge biomanufacturing facility that produces T-Cell therapies focused on curing cancer. The 20-acre site includes a 200,000 sf manufacturing building, a 60,000 sf office building, 450 parking spaces and has added over 350 jobs to the Frederick community.

The buildings are connected to two electrical service lines which build reliance and redundancy to ensure patient supply. The manufacturing building consists of prefabricated laboratory units, a warehouse area with a loading dock, and a 78,000 sf shell space constructed for future expansion. The two-story office building includes office space, a fitness center with locker rooms, a kitchen, and a dining area.
