Construction for new Outpatient Health Center Begins in Greenbelt
Building the Future of Healthcare in Prince George’s County
WarrenBuilds Maryland, a joint venture between WarrenBuilds and Coakley & Williams Construction, is proud to begin construction on the Prince George's County Outpatient Health Center at 9001 Edmonston Road in Greenbelt, Maryland.
When complete, the approximately 80,000 SF facility will provide a modern healthcare destination designed to improve access to care and support the evolving needs of Prince George's County residents. The project transforms an existing five-story office building into a state-of-the-art outpatient health center, creating a new home for critical healthcare services within the community.

While the building has served the community for decades as office space, its next chapter will have an even greater impact. Through this transformation, our team will help Prince George’s County reimagine an existing asset as a purpose-built healthcare environment designed around patients, providers, and the people who rely on these services every day.
“Healthcare environments demand a unique level of planning, coordination, and technical expertise. From specialized clinical spaces to the infrastructure that supports them, every element must work together to create an environment that promotes patient care, operational efficiency, and long-term flexibility. The Prince George's County Outpatient Health Center reflects the type of complex healthcare project that aligns with our team's experience and our commitment to helping clients deliver critical services to their communities” said Jason Shaw, Business Unit Leader, Science & Technology.

Improving the Landscape of Health for Prince George’s County
The scope includes a comprehensive renovation of the existing building, including new clinical and administrative spaces, upgraded patient environments, replacement of major building systems, and improvements to the building envelope. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems will provide the infrastructure needed to support modern outpatient care.
The Prince George's County Outpatient Health Center is a strong example of how building repositioning can create new opportunities for communities and owners alike. Rather than starting from the ground up, the County is transforming an existing office building into a modern healthcare facility, accelerating access to critical services while maximizing the value of an existing asset. Projects like this require a thoughtful approach to planning, infrastructure, and execution, bringing together healthcare expertise and repositioning experience to create spaces ready for their next chapter.
As construction gets underway, the WarrenBuilds Maryland team is excited to partner with Prince George's County to bring this important healthcare project to life. We look forward to sharing progress and milestones as the facility takes shape.
