A New Chapter for Coakley & Williams Construction: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Our New Office
Earlier this week, we celebrated a monumental milestone in Coakley & Williams Construction’s journey: the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new office at 4500 East-West Highway in Bethesda, MD. This event marks the official unveiling of a space designed to inspire collaboration, foster innovation, and reflect the Build Mindset that drives everything we do.
Designed by the talented team at DCS Design and brought to life by our own construction expertise, this office is more than just a workspace—it’s a testament to the vision and values that have guided us since 1961.
A Day to Remember
The ceremony was attended by employees, partners, and distinguished guests who have played a pivotal role in our story. Montgomery County Councilmember Andrew Friedson shared inspiring words about the significance of this new space, highlighting its alignment with our commitment to excellence and community.
Additionally, Managing Principal & Chief Strategy Officer Lynn Stith Bennett expressed her gratitude and excitement for the CWC team: “To all of our incredible CWC employees—both in the office and in the field—you are the heart and soul of this company. This office is for you, a space where our shared mission and success will continue to grow.”
Building for the Future
As a company with over six decades of history, this move represents our forward-looking approach. The new office is tailored to meet the needs of a dynamic workforce, featuring modern amenities, flexible workspaces, and thoughtful design elements that encourage creativity and connection. One such example is a custom wallpaper honoring “The Build Mindset” and our DC roots at the center of our new office. The space also features ten unique conference rooms, each of which are named after our previous offices.
Gratitude and Growth
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this project, from the design and construction teams to the employees who shared their insights and ideas throughout the process. This new space reflects the trust and collaboration that have been the foundation of our success.
As we settle into our new home, we look forward to continuing to bring visions to life for our clients and partners right here in the heart of Bethesda.
“Thank you all for being part of this journey. Here’s to a new chapter, a new home, and a shared journey toward a future filled with endless possibilities. Thank you for being an essential part of this remarkable moment,” said Managing Principal & Chief Operating Officer Greg Harraka in his closing remarks.
