CWC Recognized with ABC National Health and Safety Award
We are proud to share that Coakley & Williams Construction has been recognized with a National Health and Safety Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
Presented during the Excellence in Construction® Awards at the ABC Convention, this recognition reflects the commitment our teams bring to safety every day across our jobsites and offices.
Safety is not a program or a requirement. It is a responsibility we share.
Every day, our teams plan their work, communicate openly about risks, and look out for one another. That mindset is what allows everyone to return home safely at the end of the day.
President & COO Greg Harraka and Senior Superintendent & Partner Eric Van Why accept the Pinnacle Award at the 2026 Excellence in Construction Awards with ABC National Chair Thomas Murphy.
This recognition is based on a comprehensive evaluation of safety performance, including incident rates, training, planning, and continuous improvement.
“The safety record of Coakley & Williams Construction speaks for itself, setting the standard for a culture of care for its people,” said 2026 Chair of the ABC National Board of Directors Thomas “Murph” Murphy.
“Safety is always at the forefront of what we do. It comes first. It always does,” said Safety Manager Isaac Clarke. “Our teams are committed to making sure everyone goes home safe every day.”
President Greg Harraka said the recognition reflects a long-standing commitment across the company.
“Safety is central to how we operate,” Harraka said. “It is part of every decision we make and every project we deliver. This recognition belongs to the teams who live that commitment every day.”
The relationships we build within our teams and with our trade partners are critical to maintaining that culture every day.
We are proud of the systems and processes we have built, but more importantly, we are proud of the people who bring them to life. This recognition belongs to our field teams, project teams, and trade partners who make safety part of every decision, every day.
