The recognition celebrates organizations that are helping build stronger communities through economic inclusion, supplier diversity, and meaningful partnerships with minority and women-owned businesses throughout the region. For CWC, the honor reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to building strong partnerships and creating opportunities that strengthen both projects and communities across the DMV.
Baboucarr Cham, Partner and Government Sector Leader, accepted the award on behalf of CWC. “Inclusive partnerships strengthen our projects, our industry, and the communities we serve,” said Cham. “We are grateful to MWMCA for this recognition and proud to work alongside so many talented minority and women-owned business enterprises throughout the region.”
Now in its 65th year, CWC partners with clients across a wide range of sectors throughout the DMV, including government, education, multifamily, hospitality, interiors, and science and technology projects. Through its Government Sector, the firm delivers schools, recreation centers, libraries, shelters, and other civic spaces that create lasting community impact while intentionally fostering opportunities for diverse trade partners and businesses.
CWC extends its sincere thanks to MWMCA for its continued advocacy and support of minority and women-owned businesses and for recognizing the importance of inclusive partnerships within the construction industry.
