The Burr Gymnasium Practice Gym at Howard University was renovated to bring structural and aesthetic improvements to the space. The renovation included replacing the gym floor and lighting, installing new wall and safety padding, divider curtain, volleyball posts, basketball equipment, system controls, and more.

New graphics incorporate Howard University's branding along the gym walls, floor, and adjacent corridor, including a 20-foot-tall bison head that can release smoke from its eyes and light up. Adjusted wall and glass window configurations divide the practice gym and adjacent spaces. Additionally, a nutrition bar was constructed in the practice gym's east side corridor for food and sports drinks storage.
