CWC Breaks Ground on USNAAAF in Annapolis
Coakley & Williams Construction (CWC) recently broke ground on the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation (USNAAAF) project in Annapolis, MD. The project will be built on the Naval Academy’s campus and will join a long list of projects CWC has built in the state’s capital.

Building Education: Madeira School House Complete
Coakley & Williams Construction (CWC) recently completed the interior renovation of a schoolhouse on Madeira’s campus. Despite multiple challenges, the work was completed in time for the school year.
Building Education: Potomac School Project Wins Design Award
The Fairfax County Department of Planning and Development recently announced that The Potomac School’s Spangler Center for Community and Athletics won an Honor Award for institutional design excellence in the 2020 James M. Scott Exceptional Design Awards Program.

The Potomac School's Spangler Center Opens
We celebrate the grand opening of The Potomac School's new athletic center, the Spangler Center with representatives from CannonDesign, Clark Construction and all of the generous donors. The Spangler Center is a 70,000 sf athletic building with two stories. It consists of four basketball courts, with one main feature court, and an indoor running track which circulates around the gym from the second floor.

Marymount Students Tour Long Bridge Park Aquatics & Fitness Center
Design met construction when Marymount University Interior Design graduate students, alum and Vice President of Coakley Williams & Construction, Sherry Kissal, and Project Engineer, Andrew Moore, toured Long Bridge Park Aquatics & Fitness Center.
Bancroft's Award-Winning Neighborhood-to-Nature Renovation
The owner of Bancroft Elementary School’s recent $65.8 renovation project, DC Department of General Services (DGS), selected Coakley & Williams Construction as the general contractor for this Design-Build modernization. The architects, Ayers Saint Gross, Jonathan Kuhn Architects and Fielding Nair International blueprinted the additional wings with the intention of nurturing the neighborhood-to-nature relationship.
UMD Track Star Helps Build Community in Hometown
Track star, Aaron Robinson, began his internship with Coakley & Williams Construction in June 2019 through the University of Maryland (UMD) InTERPship Academy.
