CWC provided preconstruction & construction services for the Fluegel Alumni Center, the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation's new headquarters in Annapolis, MD. The 74,000 sf building includes 45,000 sf of interior space, 23,000 sf of underground parking, and 6,000 sf of deck space.
Construction included demolition, a concrete spread footing foundation system, a two-story steel structure with concrete pan deck, brick and glass exterior cladding, roof decks, VRF HVAC system, electrical and life safety systems, telecommunication wiring, and new finishes.
The project joins a long list of projects CWC has built or renovated in the state’s capital, including Preble Hall Museum, Annapolis Yacht Club, and The Maryland State House, along with four other government buildings at the State Government Complex.
