Arlington's $60M Long Bridge Park Aquatics Center Finally opens
“Arlington County has taken the tarp off of the long-awaited Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center, a 92,000-square-foot facility whose origins date back roughly three decades.
The venue at Long Bridge Park, on the east side of Interstate 395 just shy of the 14th Street Bridge, includes Arlington's only 50-meter pool with three levels of diving towers, a leisure pool with water slide, spray ground and lazy river, an 8,000-square-foot fitness center, and multipurpose community rooms.
The 50-meter pool is named for Boeing (NYSE: BA), which donated $10 million to support the continued Long Bridge Park expansion and whose 453,000-square-foot Arlington campus, its regional headquarters, is located at 929 Long Bridge Drive.”

We are ecstatic to announce that our Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center project was named “Project of the Year” by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter! It also earned two additional awards: Best in Design Excellence - Architecture and Award of Excellence - Buildings/Facilities. We partnered with Architects Page/ and MJMA on this unique design-build project, which was delivered to Arlington County in 2021.

Design met construction when Marymount University Interior Design graduate students, alum and Vice President of Coakley Williams & Construction, Sherry Kissal, and Project Engineer, Andrew Moore, toured Long Bridge Park Aquatics & Fitness Center.
