Long Bridge Park Aquatics and Fitness Center Tops Out

The project team gathered in celebration over lunch from Mission BBQ.

Coakley & Williams Construction, Page/ Architects, Arlington County and subcontractors of all trades celebrated the topping out milestone of the $57.4 million project, Long Bridge Park Aquatics & Fitness Center in Arlington, VA.

Quality Control Manager, EJ Sandoval, gave the CWC Women’s Group a tour of the 50 meter Olympics-sized pool.

Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center's heaviest joist is 18 tons. There are 500 tons of structural steel, 4,000 cubic yards of concrete, 900,000 gallons of water between all 3 pools and over 1,500 impact piers.
