CWC Turns Employee Appreciation Day into Month-Long Celebration

The CWC team paid a visit to our United States Naval Academy Association Alumni & Foundation project in Annapolis, MD.

CWC Rocks Employee Appreciation Month

CWC planned a series of celebrations throughout March at CWC Headquarters and on our construction project sites to celebrate our fantastic team. There were breakfasts & lunches, March Madness watch parties, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and more. A highlight of the month included a Seasoned Superintendent panel and lunch, where longtime CWC Supers shared their knowledge and experiences. We wrapped up the month-long festivities with a happy hour with our Field team.

Our seasoned Superintendents, Geary Bruce, Kenny Myers, Jim Gallagher, and Jeff Gray gave a detailed discussion on their decades of experience in the construction industry.

The project team at Madeira School’s new STEAM building received a lunch treat in honor of Employee Appreciation Month.

Under Construction Projects In The DMV

Each CWC under-construction project had a dedicated celebration day. In Washington DC, members from the leadership & corporate team visited Episcopal Center for Children, Howard University Burr Gym, and The Olivier Apts at 2711 Georgia Avenue to walk the sites and enjoy lunch with the project teams. Additional projects included Precision Labs, the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation, and Landon School projects in Maryland, plus Madeira School, West Falls Church Home2 Suites Hilton Hotel, Westmont Apartments and Retail, and Oakcrest School in Virginia. We also visited our project team at the United States Army Corps Engineers Baltimore District’s new building at a confidential location in the DMV area.

CWC Is The Best Place To Work

CWC’s employee appreciation isn’t just limited to one month, either. Our people are at the center of everything we build, and CWC would not be successful without them. That’s why our employees voted us a Best Place to Work in 2023. We want to shout out our team - thank you for building the DMV with us!
