CWC Welcomes Frank Trujillo as Executive Director of Risk Management
CWC’s New Executive Director of Risk Management Brings Over 20 Years of Safety and Risk Management Experience
We are excited to announce Frank A. Trujillo as our new Executive Director of Risk Management! Frank has worked as a safety and risk professional in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has dedicated his career to improving construction industry safety and risk management performance through collaborative relationships with peer contractors, industry associations, regulators, and lawmakers.
Committed to Total Human Health
Frank is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and serves on several outreach efforts. These include serving as Chairperson of the National Safety Committee for the Associated Builders and Contractors, Board of Trustees for the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention, Executive Board Member of the Chesapeake Region Safety Council, Member of the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board, President of the Washington Metropolitan Construction Safety Association, and Chairperson of the Virginia BUILT Council.
Building Safely in the DMV
Frank will provide strategic leadership for all of CWC’s risk management efforts in his new role, including Health and Safety, Quality Control, Insurance, and Construction Technology. Before joining CWC, he served as Vice President of Safety & Loss Control at Miller & Long and previously served as Director of Safety at Landmark Builders of South Carolina and D.H. Griffin Construction Co.

We recently broke ground on Foxcroft School’s new Mars STEAM Wing, an 18,000 SF, two-story addition that will house new science labs, innovation and engineering labs, math rooms, and mechanical spaces.

We are excited to announce that our Managing Principal & Chief Strategy Officer, Lynn Stith Bennett, has joined the Board of Directors for the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter! JDRF is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research whose vision is to create a world without T1D.

We are pleased to recognize Project Manager Jonathan Fuentes with the CWC Founders Award. The CWC Founders Award honors employees who consistently exceed the day-to-day expectations and deliver exceptional performance on the job, amongst their peers, and in the community.
The CWC Founders Award was created to provide the name and physical recognition for those whom this award is bestowed upon yearly. This year, Senior Superintendent Jeff Gray was a recipient.
