Westmont Apartments Tops Out in Arlington, VA
A Multifamily Milestone
Our Westmont Apartments project team recently topped out construction in Arlington, VA! This large mixed-use project is comprised of 391,000 sf of new construction and will include 250 apartments, below-grade parking, and ground-level retail and amenity spaces. We celebrated alongside Republic Properties (Owner), Lessard Design, Inc. (Architect), as well as several Subcontractors working onsite.

Building Up Arlington
This exciting redevelopment, located at the busy intersection of S Glebe Rd and Columbia Pike, will replace the old Westmont Shopping Center, which was initially built in the 1940s and demolished last fall. The CWC team is led by Project Executive & Partner Mike O’Quinn, who praised all project partners on the progress made: “It was an honor and pleasure to witness this milestone event at the Westmont Apartments project. To the CWC project team, our subcontractor partners, project architects, and our Owner, Republic Properties, it is a pleasure to build with you. We are proud to be a part of this transformational project and look forward to bringing it to completion.”

This project has a unique historical element; the original Five Guys restaurant opened at the shopping center in 1986 and has since become an internationally-known franchise with more than 1,700 locations worldwide.
