Coakley & Williams Construction Promotions

We congratulate the Coakley & Williams Construction (CWC) employees who recently received promotions. All three individuals have spent their entire construction careers with CWC. We promote employees for two reasons. The first is to recognize effort and accomplishment. The second is because we believe in professional advancement and want all employees to reach their potential.

Corey Murphy has been promoted to Director of Preconstruction. Corey joined CWC in 2004 and has held several different roles in Preconstruction. For the past year, he has been leading the base building Preconstruction team. Corey has enthusiastically embraced our on-boarding and catalytic coaching programs because his personal mission is to build better people. He has exercised inventiveness in transforming the department through the implementation of new processes and best practices to improve proficiency and efficiency.

Pat McCrary has been promoted to Senior Preconstruction Manager. Pat has led a number of Preconstruction assignments from the very complicated, like Metropolitan Club Roof Addition, to the very large, like Kite TCF05 Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility. The most important thing we do in Preconstruction is build trust with our clients, and Pat earns trust. He earns trust by delivering on commitments, by listening to and empathizing with our clients, and by introducing friendship as well as professionalism into the client relationship.

Patrick Myers has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager. Since joining us, Patrick has worked on Bancroft Elementary School, Henry M. Jackson Foundation CPDR, Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Jesuit Residence at Gonzaga, and now Cassidy and Associates. Patrick came to us right out of college last year with a degree in History, and no experience in our industry. At CWC we celebrate a variety of perspectives and points of view. They enhance the creativity of our collective population. When we trade these perspectives, we can solve problems efficiently and effectively. We also embrace a culture of curiosity. Patrick asks questions, listens, and learns. We are glad to watch him build his future with us.
