New AC Hotel by Marriott Opens in Downtown Bethesda MD
AC Hotel Hotel Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Bethesda, MD
We are pleased to announce that we recently celebrated the opening of our latest hospitality project, AC Hotel by Marriott, in Downtown Bethesda.
A long-awaited development for the Montgomery County community, the ceremony was attended by local leadership, including County Executive Marc Elrich and Councilmember Andrew Friedson. Located just a few blocks away from Marriott International’s new global headquarters, Liam Brown, who is Group President, United States and Canada, also attended the ceremony.
Building Up Bethesda
A complex mixed-use development, we worked alongside project partners OTO Development (Owner) Cooper Carry (Architect/Interior Design), and Balfour Beatty (Base Building Contractor). Curated artwork was sourced from Kalisher and Material Driven. In a press release, OTO Development’s COO, David Ward, expressed his excitement for the new hotel: “Like many travelers, we appreciate everything about the AC Hotels by Marriott brand, having opened properties in top destinations. It’s a delight to provide the AC signature guest experience imbued with a particular sophistication and practical comforts.”
