Last night’s 13th Annual CREW DC Awards Gala celebrated the outstanding efforts and achievements of women in commercial real estate. As a diamond sponsor, Coakley & Williams Construction supports CREW DC’s mission to influence and transform our industry through the advancement of women. Employees are active in the organization serving on various committees and our Executive Vice President, Lynn Stith Bennett, is CREW DC’s incoming 2019 President. While presenting a portion of the night’s awards, Lynn spoke about the chapter’s upcoming 40th anniversary.

“It will be a year for us to celebrate all that is CREW DC, to look back and remember where we started, to honor the women who have led this organization and to recognize the impact our members have had on the real estate community. 2019 will be a year to continue the transformation of our industry through the advancement of women; to be the voice for diversity in our companies and in our boardrooms; and to be disruptive in the pursuit of continued change. It will be a year for us to look ahead to the future of this organization, our industry and our community - to rejoice in what is possible and to celebrate what is yet to come.”
