Sherry Kissal is a Partner and Executive Director of Business Development at Coakley & Williams Construction, where she helps shape the company’s growth through client engagement, market positioning, strategic opportunity development, and long-term relationship building. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she works across the organization to identify emerging opportunities, strengthen key client partnerships, and support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

With more than 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, Sherry brings a unique perspective shaped by leadership roles in design, real estate development, and construction. Prior to joining Coakley & Williams Construction in 2014, she held positions with WashREIT and Ai.

Since joining CWC, Sherry has played a key role in advancing strategic growth initiatives, expanding market presence, and fostering meaningful industry relationships. She became an equity partner in 2020.

Committed to developing future industry leaders, Sherry has dedicated significant time to mentorship and advancing the design and construction profession. She founded the CWC Women’s Group and continues to champion professional development, peer connection, and mentorship throughout the organization. In addition to her work at CWC, she has advised and supported other organizations in establishing women’s leadership and networking groups.

Sherry has been an active industry leader throughout her career, serving on numerous committees, councils, and boards. She served on the CREW DC Board of Directors, where she acted as Board Liaison to the Membership Committee and served on the DEI Board Council. She also served for several years on the CREW Network Corporate Council. She currently serves as Past President of the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter and remains actively involved with her alma mater, Marymount University, where she previously served on and chaired the Design Advisory Council and continues to support and mentor future professionals.
