Subject Matter consolidated two Washington, DC offices into a single headquarters designed to better support collaboration, client engagement, and multimedia communications. The workplace balances open collaboration with focused workspaces while incorporating integrated broadcast and production capabilities that reflect the firm's role in government relations and strategic communications.

The headquarters features private offices, open workstations, conference and teaming rooms, and employee support spaces, along with a fully integrated broadcast studio, control room, edit suites, audio booth, and green room. Throughout construction, the team worked closely with the design team to maintain the project's budget and schedule while overcoming existing floor slab variations that required creative field solutions without compromising the clean, open aesthetic of the space.
