Originally constructed in 1914, Father O'Connell Hall stands as one of The Catholic University of America's oldest and most recognizable campus buildings. This carefully phased restoration and renovation preserved the building's historic character while preparing it to support the evolving needs of the university.

The first phase transformed the lower level into a welcoming destination for prospective students, alumni, and visitors with a new welcome center, alumni hall, conference rooms, and administrative offices. Throughout construction, the team worked with exceptional care to protect the building's defining architectural features, including its Indiana limestone façade, rich mahogany woodwork, and intricately carved ceilings. Executed within an active campus environment, the project balanced historic preservation with modern functionality, laying the foundation for Father O'Connell Hall's continued role as the university's front door for generations to come.
