The Center for Applied Learning and Technology was designed to support the next generation of architects, engineers, computer scientists, and technology professionals through flexible, technology-rich learning environments. Delivered through a Design-Build approach, the facility brought together classrooms, specialized laboratories, collaborative spaces, and a conference center within a modern academic setting designed to adapt to evolving instructional needs.

Working closely with Anne Arundel Community College, the design team, and the Maryland Department of General Services, CWC managed design oversight, value engineering, constructability reviews, budget management, and agency coordination from concept through completion. The project also included several distinctive architectural features, including a pedestrian bridge, a dramatic three-story atrium, a landscaped green roof, and sustainable interior finishes, creating a vibrant campus destination that continues to support hands-on learning and innovation.
