Owner: Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA)
Architect: KGA Studio
Location: Washington, DC
Size: 10,680 SF
Renovation of a historic Capitol Hill building into the government affairs headquarters for the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), located two blocks from the U.S. Capitol. The 10,680 SF project included complete replacement of the front and rear façades, structural modifications, a three-story feature staircase, modern office and collaboration spaces, a pilot training simulator, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Capitol. Construction required extensive coordination with regulatory agencies, complex sequencing, and preservation-sensitive work within one of Washington, DC's most prominent historic neighborhoods.
