Abou Haidara

Director of IT

Abou joined CWC in 2011. As the Director of Information Technology, he redesigned and optimized our networks by moving the heavy-lifting to the cloud. He implemented and maintains the Office 365 platform, including an ahead-of-the-curve release and full integration of Teams, which drastically increased the collaboration and productivity within and between employees.

Abou was honored in 2019 with an employee-nominated Founders Award, which recognizes those who consistently go above and beyond the day-to-day expectations. As stated by one of his colleagues, "Abou epitomizes the qualities we wish to promote in our company: unparalleled customer service, complete dedication to his craft, creative and forward thinking, and unfailingly pleasant and courteous."

Prior to joining CWC, he was a computer science professor at CEFIB, held previous positions with Tata Informatique, Companie Malienne de Developpement Textiles (CMDT), and Agence de Cessions Immobilieres (ACI), and consulted for the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Embassy of Mali in the United States. He earned his software engineering degree from the University of Setif in Algeria, North Africa.
