Coakley & Williams Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation’s Capital’s North Campus (2nd – 6th grades). The project incorporated 26,000 sf of renovated space and approximately 45,000 sf of new space to accommodate a newly created middle school (7th grade and 8th grades). The project included an addition of a third story to an existing building, a new core area with a gymnasium, elevator, library and multi-purpose room, rooftop turf play field, and a new two-story middle school wing above a parking area. The LEED Silver certified project includes major site improvements along the congested area of 16th Street, Fort Stevens Drive, and Rock Creek Ford Road, NW.
