Coakley & Williams Construction proudly served as the general contractor for the prestigious Henry M. Jackson Foundation Center for Prostate Disease Research project in Bethesda, MD. This endeavor involved the development of new office and laboratory spaces in a first-generation floor setting.

The laboratory aspect of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation Center presented a uniquely intricate coordination challenge, met with determination and expertise. Beyond the standard lab equipment, the project necessitated careful consideration of gases and circulating water systems, each demanding specific HVAC configurations. Notably, the installation of a sizable Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) unit required precise logistical planning, including crane placement through the window. Additionally, the integration of flat, spiral ductwork throughout the lab space demanded meticulous sealing to ensure optimal functionality.
