We are excited to announce that our Managing Principal & Chief Strategy Officer, Lynn Stith Bennett, has joined the Board of Directors for the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter! JDRF is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research whose vision is to create a world without T1D. This cause is especially significant to Lynn as it affects her family’s everyday life.

“My grandson Cole was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 3. He doesn't remember life before constant monitoring of blood sugar levels and the need for life-sustaining insulin. My hope is that in his lifetime, there will be a cure. JDRF is working to fund the research that will be life-changing for him and millions of others.

Building T1D Awareness in the DMV

CWC has long been a supporter of JDRF and its mission; we are an annual sponsor of the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Games and had over one-third of our company compete in 2023. CWC joined forces with other commercial real estate companies in the DMV to raise a record-breaking $824,571 at this event!
