ASLA Headquarters Honored at 2018 NAIOP DC|MD Awards of Excellence

The 16th Annual NAIOP DC|MD Awards of Excellence Gala was held last night at the newly renovated Fairmont Hotel in DC. The event brought together developers, architects, general contractors, designers and more from the commercial real estate community. Over 30 projects were named as winners, honoring more than a hundred companies for their work.

What a great night it was for Coakley & Williams Construction and Gensler! The team took home the Award of Excellence for Best Sustainable Project for the American Society of Landscaping Architects (ASLA) Center for Landscape Architecture. Setting the precedent for sustainability and wellbeing, ASLA’s headquarters in Washington, DC is LEED Platinum and WELL Silver certified.

Coakley & Williams Construction is a Gold Sponsor of NAIOP DC|MD. Director of Marketing & Communications, Lisa Schlossberg, serves as Co-Chair of the chapter’s Awards Committee and the company was the Centerpiece Sponsor of the Gala.
